Suresh Raina belongs to the league of the Uttar Pradesh bowlers who learned the tactics of the game on fields where it is difficult to predict which direction the ball will swing after taking the bounce. This is the reason why Raina bowls on any field irrespective of factors like grass, dryness or weather conditions. Born in a small town of Muradnagar, Raina participated in every match that was played in his colony. And, the dependability of his team on Raina was such that the team lost every match which it played minus him.

Raina shifted to capital Lucknow once he started taking his career seriously. Attacking batsman, pacer and splendid fielder, Raina made his debut in the international cricket in 2005. His performance in IPL’s first season was remarkable, and now he is a stable place in team India.
