To make his son reach team India, Bapusaheb Bangar, a government class I employee had to face a lot of difficulties. He left Aurangabad because Sanjay had to learn new cricket in Mumbai. Apparently, Sanjay and Sachin Tendulkar have taken their lessons for the game from the same teacher Ramakant Achrekar. Bangar, who shares his birthday with superstar Amitabh Bachchan did get a chance also. He was part of the team in 2003 World Cup. But, he didn’t get many opportunities to prove himself. However, Bangar isn’t complaining. He believes in the saying- whatever God has given is enough. He has taken leave form international cricket, but his talent is at display in IPL.
