Mahesh Rawat, belonging to a middle-class family, got immense support from his family members. So much so that his father brought cows so that Mahesh could have their milk. His father held the opinion that cow’s milk brings energy and agility in one’s body. And, surely that agility does get reflected in Mahesh’s keeping behind the wickets. In  domestic matches, in Parthiv Patel’s absence he got a chance to play for India A where he displayed his batting as well as keeping abilities to full potential. His career once lurched in between for sometime after he got punched in his stomach by his elder brother who was inspired by the action scenes in film ‘Coolie’. Mahesh was hospitalized for a month. On his return, after a few days of practice, he got included in Haryana’s Under-19 team. Mahesh who has some experience of international cricket is happy to be a part of Rajasthan Royals at present.
