Mumbai Indians have one more fan following and praying hard for them to be in the semis. Actor Manoj Bajpayee is praying for the Sachin led Mumbai Indians so that they make it to the semi finals of the Indian Premier League.
Talking to IPLkhabar.com Manoj Bajpayee said, "I'm an ardent MI supporter and am emotionally attached to Mumbai as this city has given me everything I could have ever dreamed about. Also, MI has Sachin and in his presence it's impossible to support any other team." Among his other favorites come Rajasthan Royals and he has his reasons for supporting them. Manoj says, "Rajasthan Royals is my other favorite but this time the lady luck doesn't seem to be with them. I like Warne's team as the players are down to earth and get to play."
Manoj Bajpayee is busy shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Jail' in a location 100 KM away from Mumbai. Bajpayee doesn't lose a single opportunity to catch IPL on TV. He says, "I have Tata Sky and Dish TV settings in my van and watch the match the first opportunity I get". Manoj enjoyed Ross Taylor's knock during the KKR vs.RCB match. Manoj says, "The match seemed to be on the KKR's side but Ross Taylor turned the entire match and I really enjoyed the inning".
IPLkhabar.com asked Manoj Bajpayee if he's interested in buying a share in some team. On this he smiled and answered, "The type of actor I am, my pocket wouldn't allow me to buy any shares." Bajpayee regrets seeing all the matches on television. He said," If IPL would have happened in India, I would have surely watched a few matches in stadiums but now I'm compelled to see them on television. So be it.
