However, destiny hasn’t been much on his side where his experience on-field is concerned. Despite being compared to the likes of Eknath Solkar, Chopra didn’t play more than ten Tests.His low strike rate came in his way to claim a place in the One-day squad. But, witnessing his pivotal role that he played in helping Delhi clench Ranji Trophy in 2007-08, he has been chosen for Kolkata Knight Riders.
